Our year at the food bank: 2022 round up

We had a busy year at Manchester South Central Food bank and Bridging the Gap, with high referral numbers- we returned to face-to-face food bank sessions, offering clients a warm space for the duration of the food bank delivery session and signposting to other support services.

At our food bank in 2022, our volunteers worked hard to ensure that:

• 3886 people were fed
• 49203.2 KG food donations received
• 6000 volunteer hours worked
• 1027 holiday hunger parcels distributed
