Volunteering Roles

Assist & Support Volunteer (Currently Hiring)

At our foodbank sessions we want to sure that every client can speak to a volunteer about any further support needs they might have.

As an Assist & Support Volunteer, you’ll work with our food bank clients, exploring any issues they might have and supporting them in the right way. You might give them information, signposting to another organisation, or supporting the client to complete forms. This role will be fully supported by the foodbank team lead and a professional advice worker.

You will be fully trained in providing signposting support – you just need to be a people-oriented person.
