Corporate Volunteering Days

Supermarket Sweep

The Supermarket Sweep is a competition for teams to see who can buy the most food for our food bank in the quickest time! It is a great team building opportunity for those who want to give back to their community and understand the challenging experience of having to use a food bank. For £600 your team will be given a talk about our work, a tour of our warehouse, vouchers and then sent off to our local supermarket ! Your teams will then race back to the warehouse where the food will be sorted and teams will be given bonus point for star buys and more!

The winning team will be given their own trophy to take away with them so don’t miss out!

Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising

Host a fundraising event to raise money so that we can carry on with the vital work we do!

Examples include:

The amazing Co-op Property team raised around £5000 for us through different fundraising events including a charity ball which helped us to buy a van, essential to our foodbank operation.

Novacyte has recently hosted a Easter raffle within their teams, raising an incredible £416.50. They also donated 530kg  of food and £250 which was matchfunded to £500 over the christmas period. In total that’s the equivalent of providing emergency food for nearly 100 people!

DHL have delivered our Holiday Hunger parcels for 2 years now! This is over 1000 parcels and 93 hours a year, not only does this safe staff time and fuel costs, it is a great example of how we can work together to support our community.

If your company shares our belief that no-one should go hungry in our local area, we would love to hear from you.
