One-off volunteering opportunities: Summer food collection events

Are you looking for a one-off volunteering opportunity? Are you keen to help fight hunger in Manchester?

We’re planning a number of food collections for the summer months and we need volunteers to help out.

When do you need volunteers?
Thursday 4 June (Asda, Hulme)
Friday 5 June (Asda, Hulme)
Saturday 6 June (Asda, Hulme)
Friday 3 July  (Tesco Extra, Chester Road, Stretford)
Saturday 4 July (Tesco Extra, Chester Road, Stretford)

What time?
Our food collections run from 9am until 5pm and we ask that volunteers help out for a couple of hours at a time that suits them.

What will volunteers be doing?
Volunteers will be stationed in the foyer area of local supermarkets, handing out shopping lists, collecting and sorting donations.
