School Uniform Grants
We provide school uniform grants for families in need to purchase new school uniform items in our area of South Manchester and North Trafford.
School uniform costs are often high, with families unable to afford the one time large cost for new school uniforms. Supporting families to access the correct uniform additionally reduces the families’ need to cut back on other essentials, such as food or energy costs.
Our school uniform project works by professional referral only. We accept referrals from agencies working with families, including schools, early help/social care, housing associations and community centres.
Once referrals are received we contact the parent, agree the uniform items to be purchased, order these from the relevant supplier, pay for the items and have the parents collect the items or have these delivered.
